Soul Nexus: Dungeon Core Story

Elliot never liked people. He liked stories. As a forever DM, his entire social life revolved around weaving worlds for his five closest friends. Inside the game, he was confident. In control. Outside of it? Not so much. So when a summoning ritual in another world goes catastrophically wrong and Elliot dies as collateral damage, someone who claims to be him offers a choice for his next life. Elliot doesn’t ask for power.He doesn’t ask for revenge.He just wants to keep playing with his friends. His other self takes that very literally. Elliot is reborn as a dungeon core.On Earth. His D&D group? They’ve been reincarnated as prophesied heroes in a high-fantasy world, drafted into some bloody war against evil. And they want out. It’s not that they don’t want to help, but they are just highschoolers, they don’t know how to fight, they got separated from their friend, and really, they just want to go home. Elliot now spends his days building a dungeon, spewing out magic special powers as a byproduct, and allowing the system to get a grip on earth. Eventually his friends will find their way home. Elliot isn’t actually sure about that but it’s the belief that keeps him going. And when they return, his stories will be more real than ever.
