Jack Childre presumably an orphan was raised by his aunt in Vale City. He and his group of friends manage to have outstanding aptitudes and with a goal known only to himself decides to join a military academy at the forefront of humanity with the highest mortality rates. Before deciding the path to his future he receives some gifts from the past.
