It was the end of an Era. The lives of people all over the world were changed with one single event. The Goddess of [######] bestowed her gifts upon mankind to avert their coming tribulation. Ashley Williams was destined—no, she was CHOSEN—to lead the New World Order. Her life pointed in that direction from the very beginning. A lavish life as the daughter of a CEO, popularity that came with her name, and a beauty others envied. But that is all worthless now. The world changed. People have inherent value because of their skill. And Ashley Williams's luck has run out. With a skill that can only produce steam, she was ostracized and left behind by everyone she knew. Forced to take the humiliation without the ability to retaliate. Because in this world, F-ranks who fight back don't win. They disappear. Even those she trusted most told her the same thing: You are worthless. But she vows to prove them wrong. As the world marches forward into the future, Ashley Williams ventures into the past. Revisiting the legacy of the Industrial Revolution and the power she truly holds. If the New World Order rejects her, she will destroy it and remake it in her image. What to Expect: Sci-fi Progression: A world where technology and [Skills] collide. Expect steady growth centered around mechanical power rather than just magic. Pragmatic Female Lead: Ashley isn't a "chosen one." She's a genius who uses her Intelligence to survive a world that wants her to fail. Weak to Strong / Underdog: Starting from the absolute bottom—debt-ridden, mocked, and living in the slums—and climbing up one scrap-metal part at a time. Hard-Luck Mechanics: A unique twist on the LitRPG formula featuring a brutal -30 Luck penalty that turns every day into a survival challenge. MC must find a way to overcome this hurdle and eventually get back into the positives. Detailed Engineering & Crafting: If you enjoy seeing the mechanics and production of weapons or gadgets the MC uses, this story will have that in spades. Romance: No immediate romance planned; the focus is on progression and narrative. If that changes later, it will only be if it naturally fits the narrative. Schedule: Daily updates (Life permitting). I'll post announcements if there are any delays.
