Harvey wakes up in an endless parking lot shrouded in a mist after falling asleep in their car during a break from work. Finding their car’s battery dead and the dome of fog that encompasses the Lot inescapable, Harvey explores their new surroundings, finding only more cars, the mall they work at, monsters, and a cat. Harvey eventually checks their phone, and finds a different operating system running the device. They learn they’ve been captured by an extra-dimensional entity known as Big Pocket, and has been selected as one of five second round testers for Big Pocket’s project: The Liminal Lot. This is Big Pocket’s first time as a game dev, and it is very excited to be running these early tests of what it has built so far! Now, Harvey has to utilize skills learned from a past they never wanted to revisit in order to survive. And the worst part: this game test is a full completion run, meaning Harvey and the other testers will have to fully clear everything the game has to offer, or die trying. With the supposed promise of making it back to their own reality the only thing keeping Harvey from going mad, they must fight through hordes of monsters, clear every zone, map, and mission, and try to heal their unresolved trauma before another flashback gets them killed.
