War of '00

A war before time was invented to record it. Perpetual war, endless shelling, constant shaking of the ground, all in one small region. A boy seeks revenge for his town and his family, but in this universe, you are nothing. You are either dead or alive, 1 or 0, in peace or in constant fear. Can he break this rule? Will he die trying? Will everyone he knows die for him? Or will he just be nothing.
