The Hangedman

In a world where corruption festers beneath the polished surface of order, justice is not always delivered by courts, nor mercy by the righteous. Alezander Von Holms walks quietly through the darkness between institutions — a gentleman in speech, a predator by necessity. Refined, observant, and unnervingly composed, he belongs to a race long dismissed as something from children’s tales. Alongside law enforcement and arcane authorities, Alez navigates secret underground rings, ritualistic atrocities, and power structures sustained by exploitation. But his methods are… unconventional. Where others seek arrests, he seeks equilibrium. Where others fear the dark, he wields it. As investigations deepen and shadows lengthen, the line between justice and monstrosity begins to erode. In a corrupted world, the question is not whether evil exists — but who has the right to judge it. And what becomes of humanity when judgment is delivered by something far older than its laws?
