The Ashford Empire argues that only the worthy and properly trained should wield it, preserving order through absolute control.
The Confederation of Andolfa preaches freedom: every person has the right to choose.
Fredon grew up sheltered on an island that does not exist on any map. Until the day his grandfather — a legendary Northern Explorer — dies, revealing that Fredon’s name is a lie, his parents were strangers, and the island itself is about to vanish.
And it does.
Swallowed by a mythical whale that carries souls between worlds, Fredon awakens alone on an unknown shore. With fractured memories. No guide. No choice but to move forward.
