The Chronicles of the Battle Gods

Synopsis: The land of Sol, home to the Battle Gods, floats high above the surface world of Mosao below. The people of the surface look to the heavens for protection from the beasts and demons of the Bottom World below their feet--A world deep underground, unseen by most. This story is but one Chronicle of the Battle Gods, a story of a conflict between Sol and the Demons that began one thousand years ago. Two siblings, the children of Davak, warriors of Sol--Will find themselves in the midst of this thousand-year conflict. What to expect: This story is a slow burn action-adventure story with minor fictional politics throughout, and there are dozens of characters that will be introduced as the story progresses. There are multiple lead characters, and the point of view will switch between them depending on the chapter.  Format: Numbered Chapters: (Ex, Chapter 1) will be the main story. Sometimes chapters will be titled as "Part 1, Part 2" but cannot be read as an isolated story, even if a chapter is labeled as "Title, Part 1". It is recommended that you read all numbered chapters in order, (From Chapter 1 and onwards). EX Chapters: Will not be numbered and are extra chapters relevant to the portion of the story they are posted in, but do not necessarily progress the story. These chapters will be recommended to read, but I will not make them mandatory to understand the main story and plot. Side Chapters: Will be optional side chapters that will contain self-isolated stories within the world, based on certain characters. These will be side stories that I want to write but will not be relevant in the main story. Some Side Chapters will have multiple parts but will have a clear conclusion signifying that side stories end. Note on the story: I have not based this story on any real-world events, the characters within the story do not necessarily reflect my own beliefs or views. This is a work of fiction, that I spent three years drafting out, and everything in this story is already set in stone as a result.  I only write in my free time as a hobby, so, chapters releases may be inconsistent, although I will try to finish one, and sometimes two a week--With that said, there may be times where I take a break to write other, personal projects. I do not use generative AI, or AI assistance in any capacity, as such my output is limited to what I can write in my spare time, and I love to write different stories. However, this has been a story I've been returning to consistently since 2021--And I don't expect to ever abandon it. I would appreciate edit suggestions on any grammatical errors you will find!
