In the dangerous streets of the Lower City, Sarah survives through scams, petty theft, and bad ideas alongside her only friend, Elias. Together, they dream of a life beyond hunger, violence, and a city where children like them are easy to discard. Then one failed scam takes everything from her. With nothing left but grief, anger, and a desperate need to never feel powerless again, Sarah makes a simple decision: she will become strong enough that no one can ever take someone important from her again. That is when Yajirushi Kizuryu appears — an arrogant swordsman with terrifying skill, a name far heavier than Sarah understands, and enough recklessness to take her in as his student. Under his guidance, she begins learning to control her mana and eventually awakens a rare power capable of cutting through space itself. Her first real job leads her to the House of Rullers, a mansion haunted by ghosts trapped in an old tragedy. To escape, Sarah and her companions must uncover the truth behind a murder before the house claims them as well. But the mansion is only the beginning. Beyond it lies a vast world of strange nations, exorcists, criminals, wars, ancient powers, dangerous companions, and people whose strength makes Sarah realize just how small she still is. Sarah believes the strongest person is the one who can do whatever they want. Her journey will force her to discover whether strength truly means freedom, revenge, protection… or something far more dangerous.
