I am the nether of the nether, the dead among the dead. In this twilight realm, before hopeless eyes, I offer up a many-petaled rose and the eternal stars, to bribe the bailiffs of the underworld. And they, within my hollow shell, fitted me with a Pinocchio heart, so that I might struggle on and survive in this fallen, deceitful, despairing Demonic Sect.
