Denji! Wake up! You’re already late for school!” his mom shouted from the kitchen. “Wait… just five more minutes,” Denji mumbled, pulling the blanket over his head. “No! Wake up right now. You need to reach school by 10:30, and it’s already 10:20! You only have ten minutes left!” Denji’s eyes shot open. “What?!” He jumped out of bed without even eating breakfast. “Again… he’s late for school and didn’t eat his breakfast,” his mom sighed. “I don’t know what he’ll do in his life…” When Denji reached school, the class had already started. “Hey, Shin, you’re late today too?” Denji whispered. “Yeah… but why are you late?” Shin asked. “My bus was late,” Denji replied quickly. Just then— “Denji! Shin!” the teacher called sharply. “Why are you late today?” “Ma’am, my bus was late,” Shin said nervously. “And you, Denji?” “Uh… same, ma’am.” “You both stay here after class. You are late again.” “Sorry, ma’am…”
