Denson didn't know how long his escape pod drifted in space, but landing in a thaumaturgical planet with elves with magic certainly was an out of this world experience... heh. And he has to survive in a fantasy feudal continent with what? A survival grade microfabricator? He'll need more than that if he wants to escape home. Perhaps he could convince the magicless locals to work for him. Start a resistance, maybe. Then what? Kickstart an Industrial Revolution? Introduce guns? Ignite a region-wide resistance? Agh! So many steps to take to build a spaceship. With native geopolitics meddling with his affairs, and him to theirs, it's inevitable to be tangled with... a lot.
