Mark of the Seraph

Caelora survives because of faith.
The Aureate preach order. The Ecclesium heals in the Choir’s name. The Pale Order kills in the Light’s shadow. Beyond the Veil, the Wilds rot and breed things that should not exist.
And Bloom is spreading again.
Solenne is only an apothecary. At least that’s what the city believes. She treats what the church cannot. She works in herbs and tinctures while Ecclesium healers rely on sanctioned miracles. But when Bloom returns stronger and stranger than before, people begin surviving only after visiting her shop.
Because Solenne carries something the church would burn her for.
The Mark of the Seraph.
Each time she heals, the disease breaks apart inside her hands. Light burns beneath her skin. Ash spreads across her body. And whatever the Aureate call divine may not be what they think it is.
As Lustration approaches—a ritual meant to purify the city—political tensions rise. The Wilds grow unstable. Creatures are found infected with Bloom. The Pale Order begins to move more aggressively. And whispers start circling about her.
Faith built Caelora’s walls.
If the truth comes out, it may tear them down.
