Andy died on the 17th floor betrayed by humanity's greatest hero. He came back. The hero doesn't know yet. In his first life, Andy was a foot soldier in a dying war, betrayed on the 17th floor of the System’s meat-grinder by Amito—the world’s most beloved hero.  Now, Andy is back at the beginning. He is Level 0, his body is broken, and he’s standing in the mud of the Tutorial next to a younger, "kinder" version of his murderer.
