Evita Adler was trained to advise kings, read the stars, and survive court politics. Instead, she runs a coffee shop by the sea. Cliff's Drop is supposed to be quiet. All salt air, gossiping woods, and manageable magic. But when the long-sealed lighthouse begins drawing attention, and a stranger with a sword steps into her shop, Evita realizes some places don't forget their history. And some magic doesn't like being left alone.
