Mana Pools & Mazes

Miri Sutton jumped right into the lake. Minor oversight: It was actually a concentrated pool of primordial mana, and she dissolved on a metaphysical level.  A god puts her back together and drops her into a world run by a magical System that tracks levels, grants rewards, and refuses to explain why she’s there. Apparently she has a “mission.” She's just not allowed to know what it is yet. Fine. She’ll get stronger. She’ll survive monsters, death mazes, and whatever else this world throws at her. But the System is acting strange. And Miri has never been very good at playing by someone else’s rules.
