Cultivating after the End

Not every story has a happy ending. Not every legend is true. Such is the case for Vrakhu, the immortal who outlived his own myth. Some cultivators want power. Others seek wealth or the satisfaction of their desires.  Vrakhu just wants to make sure the twins he adopted are prepared to survive this dangerous world… and to discover the fates of the other children he once raised. Corinth and Corvinus were the youngest children of the Dryden warrior clan — until the day they were abandoned in the mountains and left to die. Saved by a strange old man who agreed to train them. The twins grew up in a forest filled with wild animals, man-eating insects, and deadly spirit beasts. He trained them in silence, in a place meant to be their grave. Now they’re ready to return to the world that left them behind. To the place they once called home. And they’re not alone. The world may not know Vrakhu, but its scars remember who he was.
