When Cassian Moon left his noble house on a self-imposed exile two years ago, the scale of the succession wars tipped. The most talented of his generation, a once in a millenia prodigy in magic, he was bound for greatness. Yet, he gave it all up. Some called it cowardice, some called it love, but only Cassian knew the truth: the world was going to end, and only he could stop it. Beckoned to duty by a cosmically powerful girl with powers of clairvoyance, they travelled the world for a decade and fought for their world together. But they failed. With her final spell, she sent Cassian back in time to just two years after his exile. Now, he must return to his house's succession war, take advantage of the house's resources, and prepare for the coming fight again. Unsurprisingly, the house is not pleased with him, and his journey to the top won't be easy. Many ridicule him and mock his audacity, but those who remember, they quake, either in fear, or anticipation, for the return of the dark star. Updated irregularly and is prone to future editing.
