From the Battlefield to Resurrection Fighting on the ruthless frontlines of the Attini Empire, a Bullet Ant infantryman designated "Avaris" is left for dead on a suicide mission against the giant insect hordes known as the Swarm. As he is about to draw his last breath, he finds himself in a mysterious sky village named Immanu, hidden at the peaks of the treacherous Hagi'Shar mountains. His saviors are powerful children known as "Worm Mages"—pale-skinned, silver-veined beings capable of bending reality to open wormholes. A New Body, A New Class When Avaris wakes up, he realizes his Symbiotic System has been completely altered. His old ant mutations have been erased, his body transformed into a metallic, semi-inorganic structure, and he has been assigned a brand-new class: "Whiteworm." Under the guidance of the village's young and cheerful chief, Elara, Avaris begins to learn how to bend space and warp through wormholes, slowly letting go of the tense military reflexes instilled in him by the empire. He discovers that the inhabitants of Immanu are entirely children—pacifists with incredible, logic-defying power levels (S-Rank) who live in symbiosis with giant, peaceful worms. The Darkworm and Adaptation Avaris experiences a brutal encounter with a feral, aggressive "Darkworm" alongside one of the village patrollers, Kael. Pushing his limits during this deadly struggle, Avaris gambles his points to unlock a new tier-two mutation called "Wormic Bones." Managing to defeat the monster by contorting his segmented body at supernatural angles, he gradually begins to merge his new spatial abilities with his tactical military mind. The Defender of Immanu While the village celebrates Avaris's darkworm hunt with a grand feast under the bell tower, the peace is suddenly shattered: eight massive Boreus bugs scale the mountain and attack the sky village. As the terrified Worm Mage children—who have never fought a day in their lives—scatter in a panic, Avaris steps up as the village's sole protector. Utilizing his ruthless survival instincts, his battered body, and his fresh mastery of creating wormholes, he hunts the giant insects down one by one in a high-speed, warping melee. Firing his very last bullet through a tiny, bullet-sized wormhole opened right at the tip of his barrel, Avaris obliterates the final monster and collapses in victory as the guardian of his new home.
