In a world long forgotten, the vastness of a single ocean was all that separated humanity from the demon race. Between them lay a scattering of islands—the home of the beastfolk, who lived in a fragile, quiet peace. Three and a half millennia ago, history witnessed a miracle. The King of the Humans, the King of the Beastlands, and the King of the Demons signed a Great Treaty. For the first time, the fires of war were extinguished, replaced by a bond of genuine friendship between the three sovereigns. But peace is a delicate glass. Under the cover of a pitch-black night, the Human and Beast Kings were executed by an unknown hand. The world screamed for blood. The Demon King was branded the traitor, and the treaty shattered into a million pieces. Yet, with his final breath, the Demon King cast a singular, world-altering spell: “Before the Great War consumes the world once more, the Kings of old shall return to bring forth peace.” Present Day. In a classroom far removed from ancient legends, three friends sat at the back of the room, bickering and laughing. They were the kind of friends who felt inseparable. But time is a cruel master. Rehan, one of the three, had left the school. The trio was broken. It was only by a stroke of immense luck—or perhaps something more sinister—that they were reunited during a school picnic. Luck is a wonderful thing. But as they say: too much of it can be deadly the world never allow such perfection.
