Calamity: Serpent of the Stars

A Terraria Calamity power fantasy novel, following the Devourer of Gods in 3rd person In an era that can only be described as Calamity, a champion of the Jungle Tyrant was slain. A cunning serpent that is said to slay gods and bring down mighty rebellions. Only for a hero to rise and slay the god devouring serpent itself after defeating other harrowing foes, moving on to face the last of the Tyrant’s forces. But as the great hero of Terraria moves against the dreadful Jungle Tyrant’s rule. Against all reason, a small spawn rose from it’s corpse. The cunning serpent, sensing the imminent downfall of the Jungle Tyrant, had prepared accordingly and survived. The regrowing rebellion, noticing it’s return, stopped the serpent from completely regaining all of it’s former strength. And before the great hero returned to finish the serpent for good, it fled from Terraria and into the stars. Likely never to be seen again. However, space is a large place, bringing with it the unknown. There are great dangers hiding in it’s farthest depths and great boons in it’s expanse, but whether the serpent lives long enough to encounter them remains to be seen.
