Three warheads hit Paraguay. Nobody can explain why. Three years later, a man lives alone in a bunker beneath the hills. He has supplies, a radio, and a handful of handbuilt drones that are slowly dying. He watches the world through cameras and speaks to no one. He has rules, and the first rule is: don't be found. But the drones see too much. A colony in the valley, tearing itself apart. A warlord building an army on the eastern roads. A church full of people too weak to run.
