In a post-apocalyptic fantasy world, harpies seek refuge in extreme locations to avoid slaughter at the talons of an undying, mindless race — the Corpse Birds. How the old world fell is forgotten to time. For a Snowy Owl and Sandpiper harpy in the mountains, it's unimportant. They have only one pressing thought on their minds... Can they hope to smuggle their chicks safely to the only nation left untouched by Corpses? What to Expect: No evolution or litRPG elements, this is just plain 'ol fantasy XENOFICTION - no humans at all A balanced mix in tone (I try to balance the darker aspects of the story with wholesome family dynamics) Graphic violence is not that bad, just airing on the side of caution Lots of harpy-based worldbuilding with nods to other mythological birds
