Luna Caine, a twenty something warehouse worker, dies in a dumb freak warehouse accident.  She wakes up in a beige conference room where two barely-human beings offer her a second chance at life. There’s a catch. She is thrust into a new dangerous world with a magic system in order to provide entertainment for the masses. During race selection… she makes a mistake. Luna is reborn as a Nothing — an intangible node of awareness with no body, no senses, no class, and no way to interact with the world around her. She has no strength to fight, no spellbook to cast, and no way to know up from down. Just silence, confusion, and the creeping fear that she’ll be stuck like this forever.  …But Luna refuses to quit. Especially knowing that somewhere, onlookers are rooting for her downfall. Through stubborn experimentation, she learns how to summon tools she can possess in order to experience the world again. One workaround at a time. One level at a time. When she finally encounters humanity, she discovers a world crushed beneath levels, taxes, monsters — and people who’ve learned to weaponize the system.
