On brief hiatus for refinement - back with new chapters in July
The year is 2262 and the Helios Corporation owns the sky.
Earth lives under managed darkness, encased in a mesh of solar-harvesting satellites. In orbit, society basks in engineered abundance. Below, the Earthers labour in industries too dangerous, too dirty, or too heavy to lift into space, surviving inside powered enclaves bordered by frozen darkness.
Miri is a struggling influencer, caught in the luxury of the inner orbital rings. Rafi, her best friend, is a fierce advocate for truth, just waking up to his own sheltered ignorance. Kyu, an Earther mechanic, risks his life daily, venturing on the frozen wasteland of the Earth's surface. His best friend, Em, knows that conditions for Earthers will never improve until they strike back.
When the sun becomes a product, access has a price.
