The afterlife of Belphus needs protecting, or at least the hellscape that certain individuals find themselves in does. Untold droves of demons, abominations and the undead seek to escape the realm into the mortal world.  A group of soldiers who died in their former lives and were reborn into new forms fight a forever war against monstrous creatures. There's always been a rumour of an exist from the hellscape, but any place is better than this mockery of an afterlife. Welcome to your afterlife soldier.
