by Minerva Kibutsiji
When Chronos cheerfully announces his plan to visit Station 49, he unknowingly triggers the secret his father has fought to bury. Minerva, who once escaped the Station’s horrors, reveals that it is not merely a location but a living contagion—one that rewrites reality and those who linger within it. His fragile human disguise fractures, exposing the glitching, nine-tailed Kitsune form beneath. Moments later, he collapses as the Station’s lingering corruption overwhelms him. Desperate to save his father, Chronos absorbs the volatile energy consuming Minerva, unintentionally awakening something powerful within himself. Though he manages to disguise the supernatural incident from paramedics, his newfound static-charged abilities spiral out of control at the hospital. When Minerva reawakens in full monstrous form to protect him, they flee—only to draw the attention of the Station’s “Echoes,” reality-glitched entities that hunt escaped anomalies. Cornered by the Echoes’ devastating sonic assault, Minerva makes a devastating choice: to save Chronos, he rewrites him. The transformation is violent and irreversible. Chronos evolves beyond his father’s Kitsune curse into something far greater—an apex predator shaped by the Station itself. Part fox, part dragon, and fueled by raw electricity, Chronos becomes a being built not merely to survive the contagion, but to dominate it. As father and son retreat into a hidden bunker beneath the city, they realize the truth: the Station has marked them both. Minerva escaped as prey. Chronos has been reborn as something far more dangerous. And the hunger growing inside him may be just as terrifying as the monsters hunting them.
