Re:Wind Breaking Blue

What do you do when the people on your side are part of the problem? After the Academy falls, Stella Devigne survives by becoming useful. The Union keeps her close and put her to work as proof that everything is still under control. To the public, the Union is safe and legitimate. To Stella, it is a system that protects people by deciding who can be sacrificed quietly. Staying means she can save lives from the inside, but it also means following rules designed to bury the truth. Every choice she makes keeps people alive at the cost of something else.   On the other side of the country, Yumi Lumiere is fighting the same system from the outside. The Union calls her a terrorist, and the rebel group backing her is not much better. They believe fear is the only way to break a corrupt government, even if it means cities burn and civilians suffer. Yumi wants change without killing, but walking away from the rebels would mean losing her only chance to tear the Union down. To keep moving forward, she has to decide how much of herself she is willing to give up.  Both sides want to save people. They just do not agree on the cost. This fiction is the continuation after Re:Wind: Before Tomorrow.
