One day, all the lights went out, and never came back on. Computers, cars, everything stopped working. Humanity adapted, and as centuries passed, the age of high technology was considered to be an age of magic and mystery. In the new world, devoid of advanced technology, feudalism is the most common form of government. The world is full of kings, dukes, knights, and more, and war is almost constant. This is the story of one particular war. The war of the Lilies, when Acadia, kingdom of the golden Lily, aspired to build an empire as vast and glorious as the mythical "United States" of ancient history. Northward from New Orleans her armies marched along the banks of the mighty Mississippi, and conquered one kingdom after another, until they came to Flussreich, Kingdom of the white Lily. They conquered Saint Louis, the capital, and captured Alexander the king, but his son Prince Cyrus escaped with his mother the queen Erika, and with providence on their side, they may be able to rally the free kingdoms of north america to resist Acadia's tyrannical ambitions.
