On a perfectly normal day, planet Earth experiences an unexpected change, bringing wild, unforgiving monsters and strange, supernatural phenomena. In the small town of Wawa, Ontario, Niles LeClaire sees the horrors of this new natural order and is forced to abandon his home for the sake of his survival. Using all the lessons he'd learned from his late father, accompanied by both fellow survivors and visitors from unknown lands, he strives for nothing more than to live and make his world a place where future generations can live on in at least relative peace.
