The Sun vanished thousands of years ago. Since then, the world of Gaon has endured beneath an endless night, watched over by five Guardians who once protected it from the darkness beyond the stars. Then the Guardians fell. One by one, they succumbed to the corruption of the Devourer, the dragon that consumed the sun itself. Now two young travelers cross a dying world. Rami, the last heir of a fading prophetic lineage. Naro, a knight raised by one of the fallen Guardians and bearer of a blade that descended from the heavens alongside the Devourer. To reach the dragon and reclaim their future, they must first confront the Guardians their inhabitants once revered, taking their power before the Devourer's corruption consumes what remains of Gaon.
