Ethan was an office IT guy who knew Cyberpunk 2077 down to its stash routes and broken doors. Then he dies and wakes up in a landfill outside Night City in a body called Jax Morrow. That body comes with stim withdrawal, low tier chrome, old debt, and a damaged system that keeps dropping prognosis lines, incomprehensible warnings, and engrams that can be burned down into usable skills. It also comes with history Ethan does not have and people who recognize the body before he understands it. Game knowledge still helps, but it does not solve the practical part. Timings slip. Famous scores can be early, late, or already occupied. Hardware needs money, maintenance, and somewhere safe to stash it. Useful people usually want something back. He starts with a dead farmhouse in the Badlands and works forward from there: water, ammo, working chrome, and enough leverage to stop being prey. What to expect : Cyberpunk 2077 fanfic with LitRPG elements, engram-based progression, and a slow climb from Badlands survival into merc work, netrunning, and buried city infrastructure. The focus is on pressure, maintenance, money, body-state, and wrong turns that still look useful until somebody shoots over them.
