A Science Fantasy / Dramatic Comedy / Tokusatsu / Space Opera Logline: In a galaxy where magic users are an insurance liability, a marginalized junk-pilot with a rabbit alchemist and a mobile BBQ grill might be the only thing standing between a system-wide crash and a pirate invasion. Synopsis Simon Brant is a Wyrd.  No, not weird...okay, he's that too.  A weird Wyrd.  That's two strikes against him already! In the eyes of the Grand Galactic Alliance, that makes him a person-of-interest. In the eyes of insurance companies, it means any ship he’s on is an automatic "uninsured loss." To hide his dual-pupiled eyes and his ability to summon objects from thin air, Simon wears EROS (Enhanced Reality Ocular System) goggles and a bright orange cargo vest, giving him plausible deniability for the items he summons. He doesn't want to save the universe; he wants to log enough official hours to become a Master Scrapper and keep his mentor's junkyard afloat. But when Wiper Malware bricks computer system across the sector, the high-tech civilizations begins to suffocate. As corporate leaders panic and Guilds bicker, the RRRC (Recycling, Repurposing, and Reclamation Cooperative) issues an All-Hands-On-Deck alert. Simon steps up, but he isn't alone. He’s joined by Assin, a three-foot-tall Gen-Fae who escaped a life of servitude, and a mobile Grill/BBQ/Smoker he calls the Chuck-Grav. While the rest of the galaxy bids for hardware, Simon does what he does best, scavenges in the fringes. But there’s a reason Simon’s "Apportations" feel so much like building bridges. As Fae-tainted pirates prowl the sector stealing viable tech, Simon will have to stop hiding. He’ll have to trade his shotgun for hard-light armor, his cynicism for sincerity, and prove that the galaxy isn't saved by "Chosen Ones," it's saved by the people who know how to fix the air scrubbers. What to Expect: Grounded Science Fantasy: A world where the bureaucracy has created a "War and Warlockry Exclusion Clause" and mana is measured in calories. Competent MC: Simon isn't a bumbling hero; he’s a trained pilot and scrapper who solves problems with physics, martial arts, and slow-roasted meat.  Okay, and a hint of magic. Weak to Strong MC Found Family Gud Eatin' No Grimdark (This synopsis was partially A.I. generated)
