Spirit of Fire

The boy with the fire burning in his chest.  The girl wearing a crown covered in blood. Will they be the ones to save us? Owen’s powers threaten to destroy everything around him unless he can learn to control them. Living as a “guest” of the inquisition protects the world from him, and him from hurting anybody. He has no memory of his life before, only fragments, and visions of things that scare him.  Celeste was just a normal girl until two months ago. Then in a single night her entire family was murdered; making her Empress Celestine nox Illuma III. With no time to grieve, she must prove herself to a country full of people watching for a chance to drag her off a throne she never wanted.  Something dark is brewing within the Sadethi empire. Every day ties between the provinces seem to stretch thinner, and civil war becomes more and more likely. Can Owen and Celeste find the healing they deserve? Or will their broken hearts set the world on fire? *Updates at least once Weekly on Sunday I wrote this myself with blood, sweat, tears, and no use of AI in any way.
