Minahagure is a nation built on the oldest lie in history. One side is blessed by a God of light, while the other is cursed by a Devil of darkness. It is a world of pure divinity and absolute sin, where the strong rule by divine right and the weak are executed for the marks they were born with.
Yen Monozuki is the perfect face of this system. He is the playful, charismatic prince of the highest Mana house, a boy destined to inherit everything. But Yen’s vibrant purple eyes hide a reality that would set the city on fire. Beneath the silk of his right glove, etched into his skin, is a black pentagram. He is a hybrid, a walking contradiction of holy light and demonic curse energy.
While the church preaches purity and his father, Gotaru, treats people like objects, Yen waits for his moment. He spends his nights in the damp darkness of the palace basement with Nor, a girl stolen from her home and kept as a prisoner. Yen doesn't hate his father because hate is a waste of energy; he simply recognizes that the man is a disease that needs to be removed.
When Yen finally steps outside the palace walls, he realizes that raw power isn't enough to change the world. He meets Saki, a fierce warrior from a Cursed House, and Kurenai, a mysterious old man who can slaughter elite guards with a simple wooden cane. To protect Nor and unite the ten fractured houses, Yen must stop pretending to be a prince and start learning how to be a god.
The Dawn of Duality is returning, and Yen Monozuki is ready to show the world that the "sinners" were the ones telling the truth all along.
