Kaede Shiraki, a near-invisible high schooler in all aspects of his world, finds his life cut short as he reincarnates as the recently murdered Lawrence Blackwood, a failed son of the prominent magus family in a strange Victorian-era world. As malicious beasts and shadowy groups begin to disturb the peace of the prominent capital city of Exalta, armed with the fractured memories of Lawrence, Kaede immerses himself into the occult to find the answers to the murder of the Blackwood Family at the hands of an otherworldly being and find his way home to get the answers to his own murder.
