The story follows Evan Price (Later: Rafaela) as he finds himself kicked out from home at the age of seventeen and pushed down in to the undercity of New Tucson, Having to get use to life in the better parts of the worst part of the city if you can even call the undercity a part of the city itself. And during all of this a Antithesis incursion hits the city and turns his down from side ways to upside down. Learning that he might not think of himself as a he or coming to terms with it with the aid of an alien AI.
