An alien envoy named Agent 4-V33—disguised as “Goffy,” a quirky new barista—arrives in Tokyo to study humanity’s mysterious “café culture.” What begins as a mission of observation soon turns into something deeper as she learns the art of coffee, connects with her eccentric coworkers, and discovers the power of small kindnesses. When duty calls her back to the stars, Goffy must choose between her mission parameters and the unexpected home she’s found in a café.
