THE LAGOS CROSSING

When Nigerian university student Chijioke Okonkwo accidentally falls through a crossing point, he discovers Other Lagos—a parallel fantasy version of his city where ancient Yoruba gods walk, spirits roam free, and deadly monsters lurk in transformed streets. Armed with a mysterious System that grants him game-like powers, Chijioke must navigate both worlds: attending lectures and managing family expectations in real Lagos while leveling up and fighting creatures in Other Lagos. But his actions in one world affect the other, and the barrier between them is weakening. As rifts begin tearing open and monsters bleed into the real world, Chijioke learns he's a Keystone—a rare Traveler with the power to seal or shatter the barrier permanently. Caught between rival Traveler factions, ancient deities with their own agendas, and a threat that could destroy both versions of Lagos, he must grow strong enough to make an impossible choice: Keep the worlds separate and safe but powerless, or merge them and grant everyone magic—along with all the dangers that come with it.
