The Adventures of Max and Link

In a world of animals, some of which have been granted the ability to speak and reason by the Creator, danger is coming. The forest creatures are being threatened by a troop of rebel gorillas with mysterious plans. Unusual events will bring together a talking elephant, Max, who has lost his memory, with the otter, Link, an old friend, on a quest to find a herd of non-speaking elephants.  The journey takes them into situations they never planned and finally to confront an evil that is not supposed to exist. They must ask themselves, “Can faith triumph when everything goes wrong? And do you stand up for what is right even when you are all alone?” I will release a chapter a day until the story is done (barring my death or dismemberment). This is a work in progress.
