A dark magical girl and defector who found a soul in the light of the world’s greatest heroes. She turned her back on the Ashen Reliquary, joining the Starlight Blossoms as Magical Girl Star Zinnia. For a few brief years, she learned what it was like to be human. Then, the sky broke — and the monsters came. They fought and they fought. And after years of struggle against the invading Azure Blight, her reality unspooled into nothingness. The few she loved were erased before her eyes. The heroes are dead. The world is ash. Now, the forsaken Ashbloom finds herself awake beyond the rift in an unfamiliar world - with a jagged blade, a really big gun, and a singular purpose: to show the horrors beyond why they should have killed her first. ...Or at least, that is still the plan. Unfortunately, she somehow finds herself deep in suburban New Jersey, stuck babysitting a team of newbie Magical Girls who think the "Power of Love and Friendship" is a valid tactical doctrine.
