Perish

Namaz is just one of  many names he has ever worn. He wanders from one world to another, from the Middle Ages to a reality whose logic is on the verge of collapse, borrowing identities, leaving names behind, and carrying the same purpose.Searching for someone. He did not know when the search began, or how many worlds he had traversed. All he knew was that each world reacted differently to his presence. Some crumbled slowly. Others tried to resist him. Still others regarded him as a myth.His power was not limited to magic or technology. Reality is merely something that can be negotiated. Yet the further he travelled, the clearer it became that the person he sought might be beyond all the worlds he had visited. Or perhaps watching him from close by. This was not a journey to save the world. It was a journey with no promise of an end.And every world was merely a stopover.
