Bloodbane

Yuji's life was turned upside down one day when he suddenly came to with a corpse at his feet. Whether he wanted it or not, he was now one of the 'Awakened'—a select group of individuals who had to ascend to godhood, or die trying. Over the coming days as he tries to adjust to his new lot in life, he slowly realizes that the quaint little mining outpost he had grown up in might not be as simple as he had believed it to be. - MC's class utilizes blood, shadows, and transformative (taking on the form of others) powers to advance.- Lots of stealth and subterfuge are involved, but he does acquire combat abilities as well.- Bloodbane takes place in the same universe as my two other novels, but they are NOT required reading.- As for the LITRPG elements: After the prologue, he will be forced to choose from a variety of timed missions that give different rewards. Which include new abilities, upgrades/changes to existing ones, etc.
