I Was Reincarnated as the Villain’s Contract Beast (and I’m Definitely Not Doing the Plot)

The narrator, a sarcastic Japanese office worker, dies and reincarnates as a low-level magical creature in a fantasy otome game world he vaguely recognizes from his sister's obsessive gaming. Unfortunately, he's contract-bound to the game's “villainess,” who is supposed to be cruel and get executed early in the story. Except... she's not. She's socially anxious, hates violence, and talks to flowers. He resolves to protect her, derail the entire game plot, and mock every trope along the way—while avoiding being "captured" or "tamed" by the handsome love interests that make him uncomfortable.
