For Nathan, science isn't just a subject: it's a passion, a refuge. Physics, mathematics, logic, numbers and laws of the universe that, at least, unlike people, always make sense. But since his father died, Nathan has slipped into a silent depression. Inside there's only emptiness, apathy, and what he calls "The Noise": intrusive thoughts that buzz, shortness of breath, days that all blend together. Outside, though, he wears a mask. He smiles, he responds, he "functions." Because showing fragility would mean sharing a pain he can't even name. Then, in the woods of Pine Hollow, the impossible happens: armed people, a Nobel laureate kidnapped, a wormhole opens before him. One step into the void, an instant without air... and Nathan awakens on Elaris, beneath a sky of unknown stars, two moons, and an eternal aurora. There he discovers that "magic" isn't a fairy tale or a divine gift: it's simply applied physics. Energy, resonances, frequencies, conservation principles. A staff can channel power like a circuit, a spell can be a natural phenomenon, and a mistake, a variable out of place, can cost you your life. And while a kingdom teeters and a young heir to the throne is hunted, someone in the shadows moves pawns, kidnaps minds, prepares a conquest. Nathan didn't want to be a hero. But in a world that believes in Silence and the order of the cosmos, he might be the only one capable of hearing the truth.
