Stars of Arcadia: DELTA

Humanity survives behind the walls of Arcadia, the last city standing after a rogue AI unleashed mechanized horrors upon the world. Idols—girls with mechanically augmented limbs—are trained not only to battle, but to perform under the unblinking eyes of the public. Rika Kisuragi has dreamed of becoming one of them her entire life. Armed with raw compatibility and secondhand augments, she enters the Arcadian Idol Institute expecting glory—only to find a world where survival, spectacle, and public perception are inseparable. Every fight is broadcast. Every mistake is judged. And efficiency is valued far more than hesitation. As Rika faces rival prodigies, brutal a orientation mission, and the pressure of being watched at all times, she must decide what kind of Idol she wants to become—one who follows the system, or one who challenges it. Stars of Arcadia: DELTA is the definitive, professionally edited edition of the series’ opening arc, re-envisioned to deliver tighter pacing, sharper characterization, and a stronger emotional core. This edition represents the story as it was always intended to be told, and serves as the ideal entry point for new readers. This definitive edition has been professionally line-edited by Brett Michael Orr. The story continues weekly in the main Stars of Arcadia series.
