Neb never asked to be swept into a land of curses, wizards, and far too deficient in daylight. All he wanted was to make a name for himself and build the largest smuggling operation in the Western Kingdoms. But luck has abandoned him — and in her absence, the mistress of misfortune clings like an ever‑present leech. Now trapped in a foreign realm ruled by a tyrant king, Neb resorts to petty thievery just to survive. And when destiny calls, it always arrives in the form least expected.
