The Red-Eye's spread couldn't be stopped. The disease is so unassuming in its nascent stages, you would never know you had it till it was too late. They did the best they could to stifle it, to contain the infection, which drives man to fall upon man like wild animals. Of course, they failed, the disease burnt through the underbrush of society like it were not even there. The elites took to their furtive bunkers, and society retreated into almost nothing. But that was all so long ago, you can't expect humanity to lay down and die. Townships, and cities and kingdoms sprung anew. And in one such city, a disillusioned young man finds his sister to be missing one pleasant day. Tracking her down sets into motion a drowning deluge of change, change he wished he never had to endure.
