The War-Torn Path

Garassk and Rathorn arrive in the recently-conquered Pullvair, only to find themselves fighting the local guards when a female varanian crosses their path. She informs them that the conquest has been hard on them all, and now she seeks to escape, for she is about to lay eggs.
