Resistance is Futile

It's 2036. It was barely ten years since Earth was invaded by aliens. The octopus/worm hybrids from hell, calling themselves the Taval, saw humanity's space rock and decided that they needed a new parking spot in their expanding reach over the galaxy.  Life for the simple masses didn't change much in the interim, however. Tom Papadopoulos, a bank teller, thought so too. Until one random night, he was forced to join the Earth Directive of Internal Affairs---an alien-led organization tasked with peacekeeping on planet Earth.  Before he realized what was happening, Tom was cast to deal with a mess of epic proportions, involving family, friends, and a budding rebellion that would get everyone killed.
